Essie seems to be a “love it or hate it” kind of brand. I fall squarely in the “love it” camp and Demure Vix just reinforces my positive opinion of the brand as a whole.

Demure Vix is a nude mauve with a slight lavender duo-chrome that is subtle and sophisticated. Basically this is a shade that makes me feel quite elegant and grown up.

The blurry photo below not only shows that slight sheen of pale purple that keeps this polish from being just another nude, but gives a way too close look at my cuticles so that’s fun!

This is two coats of Demure Vix with my normal Seche Vite topcoat. This is also after five days of wear so all things considered, this polish held up very well.
