This week has been a bit…odd. Work was kind of intense all week, a dude tried to sell me a gold chain “for my man” in the parking lot at the gas station,and our AC was down for the count for most of the week. Let’s just take a second to honor all of the people throughout history that survived entire summers in the South without air conditioning. They the real MVP.

I decided last night that I should treat myself to a shopping spree and I may have gone a little crazy with it. I regret nothing!!

The rest of this post is going to be super picture heavy and all of said pictures were taken in really strange light so I know you’re looking forward to that.

First I hit up the Estēe Lauder counter to grab some Advanced Night Repair Serum and they had a package available for three extra bucks that included some deluxe sample sizes of some other skin care products.

They also had a gift with purchase going which is always nice.

There were some generous skincare samples as well as a little eyeshadow quad and three lipsticks that look to be full sized or as close as makes no never mind.

I’ve been eyeing this lip pencil from the bronzed goddess collection all summer and finally got caught up in the frenzy of a shopping spree and took the plunge.

Next I headed over to Sephora because I recently read a review of the Formula X Brushed Metals polishes on Beauty Geeks and felt I couldn’t live without them.

I haven’t heard anything about this palette yet but it just spoke to me. Seriously, how freaking gorgeous is this?!

I also grabbed the Bite Beauty Agave Lip mask and a Sephora Lip Stain.

So there’s the damage from this weeks shopping frenzy, I can’t wait to play with some of this stuff. Are you excited for all the fall nail polish and eyeshadows? I really am.
