Howdy! I mentioned previously that I made my first purchase from ILNP and that said purchase was initiated by my desire to own their shade called Cygnus Loop (specifically the holographic version because I’m all about that sparkle life). Well today, I’m here to say that I have zero regrets as far as this nail polish is concerned. It’s perfection on every front.

First, Cygnus Loop is named after this:

The Cygnus Loop (radio source W78, or Sharpless 103) is a large supernova remnant (SNR) in the constellationCygnus, an emission nebula measuring nearly 3° across.^[1] Some arcs of the loop, known collectively as the Veil Nebula or Cirrus Nebula, emit in visible light.^[1] Radio, infrared and X-ray images reveal the complete loop.

I’m including ALL THE PICTURES because I can. So there. But seriously, this polish is so multi-dimensional that I needed to include all the pictures.

Nails from a different galaxy? Check. Shifts through four different colors? Check. Sparkles bright like a diamond? Check. Fully opaque after 2 coats? Check. Seriously, this polish is everything that ILNP claims it will be. It also wore VERY well. I have been embarrassingly lazy with my nails of late and wore this for two weeks. There was tip wear after a week but it was minor and there was minor chipping that happened sometime during week two. In short, it wore incredibly well and I can’t recommend this polish or this brand enough.

Have you tried anything from ILNP? Have you tried Cygnus Loop? I want all their nail polishes but so far I’m succeeding in not going all Gollum on the ILNP website.

Tidbits:

• I have to brag a little bit: I’ve lost 15 lbs. since August! AND I did 380lbs on the leg press yesterday! I guess hard work does eventually pay off. 
• It’s finally decided to cool down a tiny bit here in The South. It got down to 57 the other night! 
• I only have a couple more Christmas gifts to buy but I’m kind of stumped on what to get.
