Obviously I don’t believe in tidying up my cuticles before taking photos. Sorry! (kind of sorry anyway. Mostly I embrace my laziness)

Ruby Sky is a blurple color. In some light it’s cobalt blue and in other light it’s a deep purple. In any light it has a gorgeous red shimmer.

From the ILNP website:

Ruby Sky is a seriously rich blue polish with delicious purple undertones.

This stunner makes excellent use of high quality red and pink shimmers that effortlessly stand out in all types of lighting! Ruby Sky was specifically formulated to provide a wonderful base to shimmer contrast and noticeably buildable depth with each successive coat!

The semi-translucent, jelly-leaning formula of our shimmer polishes allows for maximum balance, depth, and effect payoff. Great on their own or paired with your favorite base colors, the versatility of our shimmers is sure to keep you busy discovering new and beautiful finishes!

Fully opaque in 3-4 coats.

I have yet to try an ILNP polish that doesn’t last all week for me and Ruby Sky is true to form.

The above photos are three coats of Ruby Sky over OPI Nail Envy and topped with Seche Vite top coat.

Ruby Sky is limited edition for the summer and can be purchased for $10.00 from ILNP.

    1. I bet you’re right! This whole collection is full of possibilities as far as using different bases to garner different effects. I look forward to playing around with this one in particular in the future though.
