There’s something so chic and mysterious about a deep blackened red nail polish. Black Dahlia is one of these shades.
This polish applied like a dream. Smooth, even application that wasn’t streaky and only required two coats. The finish was quite shiny and I only applied a top coat to increase the wear time.
Wear time was average. I experienced minor tip wear in the first 24 hours and minor chipping after about 2-3 days. No further chipping occurred after that.
Two coats over Essie ridge filler base coat with Seche Vite top coat.
From the OCC website:
A nail lacquer in a professional formulation and modern color-palette. OCC’s professional-quality Nail Lacquers are densely pigmented, Five-Free, quick-drying and super long-lasting. Formulated with the editorial manicurist in mind, the result is lots of color using very little product for nails that are camera-ready just moments after application.
Black Dahlia retails for $10.00 and the bottle contains .5oz of product.
I am quite impressed with the application and opacity of this polish and while the wear time was not excellent, I would definitely purchase other polishes from the brand.
