I did a tumblr post on this a while back but wanted to re-post it here because this stuff is freaking amazing. There’s absolutely nothing bad to say about it. I’ll also include a couple of frighteningly close pictures of my eye so you can see what this looks like once it has been applied.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Shade 17

This is a lovely cream eyeshadow that works very well as a “one shadow” eye situation. You can see from the pictures that the sheen of this shade catches the light differently depending on the angle from which it’s viewed. That felt like a poorly constructed sentence but let’s just go with it ok? Ok.

This lasts incredibly well on the eyes. I do have drier skin, but after 8 hours this looked EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHEN I APPLIED IT. At that point I noticed some very slight fading but only on the actual crease of my eyelid (the very mobile part) and even then, it wasn’t completely gone in that area, it was just a tad lighter and the small gold particles were more visible. After about 14 hours of wear I may have fallen asleep with my makeup on. Stop judging me! These things just happen sometimes ok?! The point being that when I woke up, this shit still looked pretty darn good. As far as removal it was really very easy, I used my usual face wash and it came right off.

This has a very smooth texture and blended very easily. I used a powder eyeshadow to blend it further and it was the easiest blending process I can imagine. To sum up: I want all the colors! This retails for about $23.00 for 6g
