Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove

Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove is a prime example of swatches not being indicative of the quality or performance of a product.  Coral Cove swatches powdery and patchy but applies and wears like a dream.

I’m not going to lie, I purchased this blush because it’s so pretty in the pan.

As you can see from the first swatch photo, this blush IS quite pigmented. I do prefer to use a dual fiber brush for application as it’s easy for this blush to be really bold if you’re not careful.

Here it is applied with a standard blush brush. I did wear this for an entire week and I’ll link to the (future) post that contains more photos of Coral Cove on ma’ face.

Application: Pigmented and easy to blend, I have no complaints about the application. Do note that this is a very pigmented product and as such, it’s best to apply sparingly and build to your desired intensity.

Wear Time: This wears very well, better than many other blushes. I typically experience oxidation before I see fading in a blush but this doesn’t fade OR change color on me for a full 8 hours.

Pricing and Availability: I purchase Milani products at CVS and they are carried at some, but not all, Walgreens. You can also order directly from the Milani website for approximately $8.00 for .6oz/17g.

Overall, I really enjoy this blush! It wears well, it looks nice, it’s easy to work with. While it’s pricey for a drugstore product, it’s still a great value overall.
