Let’s talk trash!
ROC Deep Wrinkle Serum – I didn’t notice much improvement to any wrinkles with this, but it did make my skin very soft. The only reason I’m not repurchasing right away is because I want to go back to using an AHA for a while. I might repurchase later down the road though.
L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighter – this is hands down my favorite concealer. It’s a thinner consistency which makes it ideal to use if you aren’t wearing full foundation. I’ve already repurchased but I want to work through a few other concealers that I have on hand before I crack open a new pen.
L’Oreal Sleek It Serum Spray – I didn’t use this up, but I am throwing it out anyway. It just made my hair feel greasy not shiny.
Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil – I actually liked this initially but it contains retinol and as I mentioned, I want to use something a bit more gentle for a while. It also has rose fragarence which doesn’t thrill me for use on my face so I will not repurchase.
Organix Brazilian Keritan Therapy Flat Iron Spray – This actually really helped hold my style when I straightened my hair and it smells like a tropical beach. BUT it made my hair feel kind of sticky and rough. I wouldn’t repurchase.
Monoi Tiki Tahiti Oil – I love this. I buy about ten bottles at a time and in the summer I use them in the shower before I dry off. In the winter I use it all over after drying off and before lotion. I prefer the vanilla scent but the plain coconut scent is good too. You can buy this here.
Simple Soothing Facial Toner – This did nothing for my skin. It didn’t feel nice or smell nice or benefit me in any way. It didn’t cause me any problems but it felt like toning with water. I didn’t finish this bottle and wouldn’t repurchase.
Paul Mitchell Spray Wax – I loved this! Back when I had short hair. So…almost a decade ago? Yikes. Yeah, time to throw it out.
Got2Be Guardian Angel – this is a heat protectant spray and I have no idea how to decipher whether or not it protected my hair. What it did do is make my hair feel like I had used hairspray. I’m not a huge fan of that so I wouldn’t repurchase. Not a bad product, just not for me.
Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover – I’ve repurchased this at least twice and as of right now, this is my favorite nightly cleanser. It doesn’t completely remove mascara but it gets most of it and it doesn’t irritate my eyes or dry out my skin. I’m working through a few other cleansers that I have on hand but I fully intend to repurchase this.
Eucerin Daily Protection – I bought this to use as an SPF hand cream before I realized that chemical sunscreen does HORRIBLE things to my skin. It’s not a bad product but I can’t personally use it.
Origins Starting Over Eye Cream – this was nicely emollient and felt moisturizing enough but I wasn’t wowed by it. I can get the same amount of moisturization with my regular face cream (I combine it with honey) at a fraction of the cost. I won’t repurchase.
Kiehls Creme de Corps – This smelled divine. Like creamy honey. It was nicely moisturizing but no better than any other body butter. It truly wasn’t worth the price (40 something dollars!) unless you just want to feel indulgent in which case, go on with your bad self!
Hopefully this was helpful or at least interesting!
