Revlon did a retro collection, called the Legacy Collection with 5 (I think) re-released shades from various years. Icy Violet was from 1946 and I just found the concept of owning a lipstick that could have been popular in the 40's to be a romantic and nostalgic concept. In the tube, this looks like a very cool toned mauve/lavender with a heavy frost. I didn't anticipate ever really wearing this BUT, when I pulled this out for this project I decided to give it a try and was really pleasantly surprised. This is almost a MLBB shade but with a little bit of a twist. It's cooler and slightly more shimmery than a normal MLBB shade but it's not so frosty or purple that it is unflattering.
